At the end of last month, we travelled up to Scotland to film the wedding of Anne-Louise and Michael. To be honest I love shooting in Scotland, they have some of the most beautiful countryside Ive ever seen and for weddings its just incredible. First time filming at Dunblane Hydro and what a great place, a very grand hotel set within ten acres of private landscaped grounds, the Victorian–style hotel is amongst the finest and has breathtaking views of the Trossachs.
It was such a fantastic day, and a real cultural mix. Anne-Louise and Michael changed during the reception and entered the room wearing Japanese Kimono’s, they then greeted their guests and lit a candle on each table following Japanese tradition which was a real nice touch. There were so many emotional moments during the day it was difficuilt not to be moved, Anne-Louise and Michael have such a close group of family and friends and it was a privelage to be able to cover such a beautiful wedding in a lovely part of the world. Hope you enjoy the highlights.
